Now called Holiday Haven Burrill Lake. Good location right on the lake. Dog friendly. Easy walk to the ocean. Paid $455/week 2A ensuite. Sites a bit tight & roads narrow. . Astro turf added to some sites since our last visit. Clothes line near reception (not near laundry). No garbage bins near the picnic area on the lake (only near reception). Clean pool & well equipped camp kitchen. And a butterfly display.

Quiet park during mid-week times, right on the lake. Easy walk to beach & lake entrance
Friendly staff, no complaints, staff explained park layout and facilities. Good value for money $35 for 2A PN, powered, shoulder season. Amenities are close to most sites, were clean, condition is very good, water pressure is good, there was adequate hot water, separate bathroom, soap provided, dry change area, paper towels/dryer provided, exhaust fans/good ventilation, disabled facilities. Adequate number of tourist sites, mostly level sites, good night lighting, sites will accommodate medium to large vans, annex slabs to some sites, shade to some sites, ensuite sites available, adequate taps close by, adequate sullage close by. Good laundry, good rec room, good camp kitchen, disabled facilities, dump point, secure entry, book swap available, you can use your mobile wireless carrier used was Telstra, reception quality was 5. Quiet, open & roomy park, inadequate shade, many permanent/annual vans. Clean UC electric BBQs are free, congenial bbq area atmosphere, bbq area lighting, seating provided at bbq. Excellent playground, in good condition. Clean pool, pool is shaded, kid-safe pool area, tables and chairs provided. Suitable for few days.
Liked:- Dog friendly. Great location. Brand new kids playground . Quiet even though it was close to the highway. Permanents & tourist site separate.
Disliked:- Matting on some sites still let the sand & dust thru. Amenities & ensuite sites not maintained on the Sunday, but were still clean. Long walk to garbage bins & dump point (located next to reception)
Parking:- Enough room for one van, additional vans need to remain on the slip road.
Added Touches:- Paddle board & Kayak hire. Water front picnic area with boat ramp
Local Information:- Good fish & chips at nearby cafe
